GRAB & GO MEALS

New York City students can visit school locations from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. each weekday at the main entrance of any school building. Breakfast and lunch meals will be offered at all schools -- and you don’t have to go to your child’s current school to receive a meal. The city said students can go to their nearest public school location

UPCOMING ASSESSMENT GRADES 3-8

Dear families,
Happy Almost JUNE!!! As we close out the year, we will be conducting non-judgmental assessments on iReady. The information gathered will help our dedicated teachers create action plans for next year as discussed in the parent-teacher conferences. Please read the attached family letters carefully so that you and your child/ren will be ready for the assessment windows. ELA grades 3-8th will be June 1-5 and Math grades 3-8th will be June 8th – 12th.
Teachers will be supporting you and your child and will give further details soon. Thanks, so much for your attention and have a great rest of the week.

Feliz casi JUNIO !!! A medida que cerremos el año, realizaremos evaluaciones sin prejuicios en iReady. La información reunida ayudará a nuestros maestros dedicados a crear planes de acción para el próximo año como se discutió en las conferencias de padres y maestros. Lea atentamente las notas de la familia adjunta para que usted y sus hijos estén listos para las ventanas de evaluación. NYC DOE MOVING TO DISTANCE LEARNING

Mayor Bill de Blasio and Schools Chancellor Richard A. Carranza announced the City will move towards a new Remote Learning Model for all school days until Spring Recess. Students will not report to school buildings for instruction during this time. School buildings are scheduled to reopen to students following Spring Recess on Monday, April 20, 2020.

For the remainder of this week, teachers and administrators will participate in professional development on remote learning, and students will begin picking up materials for continued instruction.
