Hi everyone, last week we started looking at the bridge of the song. The bridge, usually connects the chorus to the next section and often sounds different then the other sections of the song. It typically has new and different lyrics, different background music, and a new melody. Today we are going to find the bridge in the song "Happy". HELLOOOOO Everyone! This week I want you to reflect on either your favorite song as of right now, or a song that you recently find yourself listening to frequently. As we've been discussing, music is a form of emotion and often we choose to listen to songs that either reflect or show how we feel, or songs that can help us feel a certain way. For example, a song that I have been listening to is Toosie Slide by Drake. I listen to this song because it cheers me up, brings a smile to my face and makes me want to dance to it. The lyrics even give you the dance moves to do by stating "Right foot up, left foot slide". I often listen to this song when I need a pick me, or need to get moving for sitting too long. This song often makes me feel immediately happier after. I now want you to reflect on a song that you have been listening to or is your favorite song as of right now and answer the assignment question below.
